Progress Over Perfection

Hi Everyone! This is my very first original F1 Tapestry. It is inspired by my favourite driver Kimi Antonelli, who has taught me to embrace the progress I make every day.

Material Details

-Yarn type: Milk Cotton

-Yarn Ply: 5 Ply

-Number of Skeins Used: 5 skeins (2 Black, 2 Light Lake Blue & 1 Whitish Silver)

-Tapestry size: Width is 40 squares high, Length is 80 squares long.

In addition, I designed and made this tapestry in conjunction to the Bahrain Grand Prix held in Malaysia, my home country. I wanted to celebrate the return of Formula One in Malaysia after 9 years, with something that i made with my own hands.

Also, this tapestry marks the beginning of my original works for crochet tapestry, which I am aiming to improve on and enhance through the journey.

My crochet tapestry journey still has a long way to go and I desire to design pieces that can capture moments and preserve memories of an event or a person. I am very happy that I get to celebrate this milestone with a handmade piece inspired by the person who taught me to fight for my passion again.
