Changes made in Stitch Fiddle
-There are no changes made because this design is from Willow Crochet.
Overall Mood
-Bright, sweet, floral, quirky, fun and playful
Materials
-Yarn Brand: Milk Cotton
-8 PLY
-Hook Size: 5mm
-Colour Used: Cream, Pink & Bright Yellow
-Finished Size: 40 x 45 squares
Tension
-Tension was quite smooth because I stuck with the new colour changing method. I started using this method quite often because it makes colour changing much easier and reduces a lot of tension.
Colour Work
-This tapestry had 3 colours to work with and this time I was more familiar with the colour changing method and my hands were getting more flexible too. Also, I am familiar with working with 3 colours after a few tapestries so the colour work for this was quite smooth.
Hand & Wrist Comfort
-Wrist and fingers were more familiar with the colour changing parts so less tension and pain.
Yarn Behaviour
-All 3 yarn was very soft and smooth. So it was easy to use and kinder to the wrist.
Row Milestones
-It took me a while to finish this tapestry because I was spending time on building my website. So I took almost a week to finish it.
Lessons Learned
-Keep to the same colour changing method but make sure to untangle yarn once done or on the go, if it is easier.
Personal Reflection
This project felt familiar because I started getting used to my new colour changing method and my tension looks much better too.
Personal Rating
-Enjoyment 4/5
-Difficulty 1/5
-Tension Quality 4/5
-Would I make it again? Yes.
