Changes made in Stitch Fiddle
-There are no changes made because this design is from Willow Crochet.
Overall Mood
-Soft, bright, playful, floral
Materials
-Yarn Brand: Milk Cotton
-8 PLY
-Hook Size: 5mm
-Colour Used: Beige, Light Lake Blue & Light Yellow
-Finished Size: 40 x 45 squares
Tension
-Tension was quite smooth because I tried a new color changing method that works much better than the first method that I used.
Colour Work
-This tapestry had 3 colours to work with and it was my first time using 3 colours. It turned out better than expected. Though crocheting in 3 yarn strands did look a little messy.
Hand & Wrist Comfort
-Wrist and fingers were more familiar with the colour changing parts so less tension and pain.
Yarn Behaviour
-All 3 yarn was very soft and smooth. So it was easy to use and kinder to the wrist.
Row Milestones
-I spent the whole day doing it, so i managed to finish it in one sitting.
Lessons Learned
-Crocheting the yarn as I go, makes the tension less tight and creates better flow in work.
-Beige yarn works just as well as cream yarn. Just slightly darker.
Personal Reflection
This project was a fun one to make because I used a new color changing method which helped me with my tension. Overall, the project turned out beautifully and flatter.
Personal Rating
-Enjoyment 4/5
-Difficulty 1/5
-Tension Quality 4/5
-Would I make it again? Yes.
