This design caught my eye because I am a Mercedes AMG Team supporter and to be able to find an easy design to start with for their logo is a blessing. 

Changes made in Stitch Fiddle

-I made changes to some of the curves and diagonal lines to make it look more even because some were higher/lower than the other. Consistency is key. 

Overall Mood

-Very chic, simple, easy on the eyes. 

Materials

-Yarn Brand: Milk Cotton

-8 PLY

-Hook Size: 5mm

-Colour Used: Whitish Grey & Black

-Finished Size: 30 x 30 squares

Tension

-The tension for this project is smoother than expected even though there were many curves and diagonal lines to work with. 

Colour Work

-I made a few mistakes along the way and had to frog the project 3 times. But overall, it worked out well. 

Hand & Wrist Comfort 

-Wrist and fingers were able to adjust to the colour changes for the curves and diagonal lines.

Yarn Behaviour 

-Both yarn colours were easy to use and were very smooth. Though I must say that the whitish grey yarn was much easier to use compared to the black. 

Row Milestones

-Even though I was able to finish it in one sitting, I had to pause in between because it was getting a bit confusing as I tackled diagonal lines and curves. 

Lessons Learned

-Whitish grey and black looks very chic together and the black stood out nicely. 

-Crocheting the curves and diagonal lines can be confusing, so it is important to use stitch markers and double check each row before doing a new row. 

-I should use Stitch Fiddle’s progress tracker for easier viewing because using my tablet made more confusing and time consuming. 

Personal Reflection 

This project was slightly tougher than the previous 3 projects because the logo had more curves and diagonal lines. But tension turned out better than expected and the finished tapestry still came out nicely.
