The Sister I Imagined

I have never had a little sister of my own, but sometimes I wonder what it would feel like to grow up beside one. This is a letter to the little sister I imagined, filled with the love, guidance, and warmth I would have given her.

My Little Sister

Her little fingers and toes wrapped in the softest clothes, snuggled in mom’s embrace.

Taking her first steps with the grasp of her tiny hands on my finger and with the biggest smile on her face.

When she greets me at our front door after school with the warmest hug after a long day of studying.

If dating ever crossed her mind, I would remind her to never lose her self-worth and confidence, and to always be wise in making choices.

To my little sis, you may not remember those days, but watching you grow was the best journey that I have ever ventured on.
