We Made It, Little Me ✨

Graduation wasn't the first thing I thought about that day. Instead, I thought about the little girl who loved painting, dancing, and sharing her heart with the world. This poem is a thank-you letter to her—for holding onto wonder, for never giving up, and for becoming the person I am today.

To Little Me

Remember the little strokes you made with

Your favourite paintbrush with all your favourite colours?

Though the shine on its body has faded away.

The bristles still holds every memory of every picture you made

With passion and grace.

Remember the way we loved moving your tiny body

To the sounds that come out of our old sound box?

Gladly our body still grooves the same,

Even though the music now comes from a

Flat device we own, called Smartphone.

Remember that little heart of yours

That you loved sharing with others?

It still stayed snuggled in my sleeves,

And it leaves its bed when it's time to

Share some kindness to those who need it.

And remember how hard we worked in school?

Guess what?

We are graduating from university today!

Our school life may have ended,

But a new journey of working has just begun.

Proud of You, Little Me❤️
